Just Released: Kansas Town Hall Research Report

Informed with quantitative data from the Status of Women in Kansas report, United WE set out in 2022 to launch the Kansas Women’s Economic Development Task Force to study issues related to women’s participation and advancement in the workforce.

The Town Halls report details findings and insights from meetings all over Kansas, where more than 500 women shared their stories. With this qualitative data we identified seven areas as key opportunities for impact, and will use the findings of this report to inform future policy agendas.

Hosted by United WE, a non-partisan nonprofit, The Kansas Town Hall series is a sharing and listening initiative to identify barriers impacting women in the workplace and entrepreneurship, including childcare, paid family leave, broadband access, etc. Your voice matters. Bring your friends, family, coworkers and other women and allies you know to a session near you.

Thank you for Attending a Town Hall Near You

The data collected via qualitative research during the sessions will be collated into a comprehensive report outlining the key barriers women in Kansas face toward economic and civic parity. The report will be released publicly in November 2022 and used to educate policymakers and influence change for women in Kansas.
