In partnership with the United Way of Greater St. Louis, we would like to invite you to participate in a free training entitled “At the Table: How to be an Effective Civic Board or Commission Member.”
The training will:
- Feature some of the best elements of United Way's popular “Get On Board” Series.
Provide information on government structure and what to expect when serving on an appointed commission or civic board.
Include interactive small group work that illustrates various civic board scenarios.
Participants will learn skills and strategies to make a difference on a civic board or commission.
