The Autumn Season
It is hard to believe it is almost November. As the leaves begin to change and fall from the trees and the harvest of autumnally ripe foods, we are reminded to take time to celebrate the fruits of work.  Please enjoy some updates and announcements of new partnerships at the Women’s Foundation!

Cottey College Award Ceremony and Reception at the Webster House

Cottey College Award
On October 9th, the Women's Foundation was honored to accept the Women Going Places Award, given by our partners at Cottey College. This award recognizes individuals or organizations that have positively affected the lives of women through personal, professional, or philanthropic efforts.  Cottey College has been a tremendous asset in developing girls leadership curriculum to add to our Girls Grant Project.  We are thankful for their partnership and support.

MU Partnership
We are pleased to announce our partnership with the University of Missouri, through which we are conducting a research study to determine the status of women in Missouri.  The data from the study will be shared with the community and analyzed by a panel of faculty scholars.  The Women’s Foundation will use the panel’s recommendation to create our impact agenda with a goal of improving the lives of women and families in Missouri and the Midwest region.
